‘I think I know of this Chris Liles bloke, who is he then?!’ Well, for several years I’ve been an active supporter of the Norfolk business networking scene. Also, since 2002, I have been a monthly ‘Business Coaching’ columnist for Eastern Daily Press’s ‘The Business’ supplement, circulated every Wednesday. I am known as the ‘Business Relationships Doctor’ which accurately summarises how I help my clients. More of that later; first a ‘thumbnail sketch’ of me.
23 years experience in various high-profile, customer-interfacing positions in the professional services industry created what I (modestly!) consider to be my impressive people-skills. This experience culminated in being asked to train & facilitate growth of ten nation-wide, front-line ‘Customer Care Teams’. These Teams were tasked with seeking Continuous Improvement to boost their service levels to both internal & external customers. This experience was back in 1992 and it revealed my natural ability to help people to improve their skills.
Since then I have helped clients grow via practical people-handling techniques and tips; researched, tried, tested & honed throughout my lifetime in business. Frequently, this included confrontation situations e.g. as a buildings Surveyor negotiating unpopular remedial measures with clients to overcome unacceptable features. Also as a Loss Adjuster, negotiating claims settlements at times of high client stress levels e.g. after burglaries, fires, floods etc. from commercial premises and private homes.

My specialism is in Personality Styles in Business which is supplemented by many other ‘tools’ imparted to clients including simplified psychology, body language and communication techniques.
I am also a management trainer and can offer you the acclaimed ‘TIPS for Good Management’ programme. This ‘brain-friendly’ (fascinating, ask me about it!) programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute and won a National Training Award in 2007.
